When will it end?

I bet most of us are excited for the 2 week dry spell to end. Unfortunately, it looks like there is a good chance of an extension of level 4.

The Covid 19 infection rate is still very high, which leaves hospitals unable to attend to other types of treatments and injuries. Logically, the fastest way of levelling down would be to crunch the numbers.

Here follow a few tips on staying healthy.. Or in this case, stay alive long enough to enjoy the benefits of dropping a level, or even two.

1. Keep busy. Do not stop walking, exercising, running or whatever way you get your cardio up.

2. Steam. Numerous covid survivors swear by steaming their face once or twice a day, with a towel covering the head and breathing in the hot steam.

3. Ivermectin. Whether you use the liquid (topical) or the pills, get your hands on some. It can be used either as a preventative measure, or as treatment. (Speak to a doctor first).

4. We know that the Covid virus loves the Ph level of the human body. Try drinking 1 tbsp of bicarb diluted in a glass of water, or squeeze half a lemon in a glass of water at room temp, and drink it in the morning on an empty stomach.

5. Lung exercises. Blow up a balloon slowly, or blow slowly through a straw into a glass of water for 10 minutes a day. It is proven to help keep the lungs strong, and also helps moving the mucus that accumulates in the lungs, outwards. (It is extremely important to stop the virus from entering the lungs, because that is when things go awry.)

Remember to always speak to your GP first before trying any new remedies or taking advice from someone without a doctorate degree..

So, please help the hospitality industry by keeping yourselves healthy and Covid FREE.

As always, stay safe, stay positive and keep on swimming!
