Friends Bub and Grub has entertainment for the whole family and is situated on the main street in one of the town's oldest original sand stone buildings. We have taken care to preserve the heritage while building a productive network of businesses. Friends hosts a pub and entertainment area, pool tables and will soon boast with a new child friendly play area and beer garden. There is also a quaint tattoo parlour with an incredible artist. We love meeting new people and reconnecting with old friends. That's what life is about. Connecting with each other, especially in these uncertain times. That's why we are working on the beer garden that will double up as a private venue, a kiddies area and a sushi and cocktail bar. Whatever you need, Friends Bub and Grub is here for you.

Never a dull moment. That's the short and sweet of it. Enter our Quiz Night competitions or enjoy a game of Pool. Watch the Big Game or enjoy a Braai Day with us. We have a coin operated Juke Box for your comfort, and too many other game nights and entertainment to mention here. We also do Food Catering for small weddings, Call and Collects, Sit-Down Meals, Pensionares days, Happy Hours and much more.

Going from partner to sole owner, Mike has a new vision for the company's future. It has been a fun ride for him, growing with the pub since its beginning in 2016, but the time has come to expand and upgrade the business and take it to new heights.

A lover of food, spice and life, Tanja joined the team in mid 2020. Together, Mike and Tanja are exploring new possibilities in the century old gem of a building.

Always on top of his game and ready to tackle any challenge. Sherwin always wears a bright smile. Given half a chance, he will entertain guests with his quirky mannerisms.

With years of culinary experience, Rensie runs a tight ship in the kitchen. Her creative skill set and enthusiasm can be seen and tasted in her creations. Her immense sense of humor is a treat to her co-workers and a few lucky guests who gets to see her every now and then.

Friends Bub and Grub has become known as "The pizza place". This lady prepares all the lip-smacking thin crust pizza bases that we serve in addition to everything on the menu. Athi also joined team Bub&Grub from the very start.

After a thriving career in many different businesses, Friends Bub and Grub was pleased to welcome Taylor Quill to the team. As a motivated, results-oriented collaborator, they’ve helped to make us what we are today.
